School Closed/Escuela cerrada
At the recommendation of the Archdiocese of Indianapolis, St. Anthony is closed as of Thursday, March 12. We will have no classes until May 1st. All sports practices and events in that time are cancelled. Students in grades 1-8 received packets from their teachers that they should complete for each day they are out of class.

Spring Soccer at St. Anthony
This is the last call to sign up for St. Anthony Co-ed Spring Soccer for grades 4 to 8.
The $20 registration fee and physical form are due ASAP. Please register in the school office or with Mrs. OCC

Noche de Alfabetización
Todos los estudiantes y padres están invitados a la Noche de Alfabetización en St. Anthony el jueves 1 de noviembre. Literacy Night November 1st
All students and parents are invited to Literacy Night at St. Anthony on Thursday, November 1. We will focus on the importance of read alouds in the home and all parents will receive instruction on how to read aloud effectively to their students. Also, all families in attendance will have the opportunity to take free books home at the end of the night to use to promote literacy in the home! Pizza will be served at 6:00 PM and our programming will take place from 6:30-7:30 PM. Please come and show our students that the entire St. Anthony community believe that what we learn today shapes our future!

St. Anthony Announces New Assistant Principal
St. Anthony Catholic School Assistant Principal Announced
St. Anthony is pleased to announce Mr. Eric Schmidt as Assistant Principal for the 2018-19 school year.
Mr. Schmidt has over ten years of experience as a math instructor, working in Decatur Township, Culver Academies, and Cathedral High School. His experience in the classroom, as a curriculum coordinator, and expertise in mathematics instruction are great strengths he brings to the position of Assistant Principal. In addition to leadership in the classroom, Mr. Schmidt has also served as a soccer coach at the junior varsity and varsity levels and a retreat program coordinator.
“We are very happy to welcome Mr. Schmidt to the St. Anthony community, and he is a great addition to our administrative team. I look forward the many gifts he will share with our students, faculty, and staff as we continue striving for excellence,” said Mrs. Cindy Greer, principal of St. Anthony.
“I am thrilled to be joining the St. Anthony community. I am looking forward to partnering with our students, parents, and staff to guide all of our students towards college and Heaven,” said Mr. Schmidt.
Mr. Schmidt earned a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics Education from Purdue University and Master of Science in Education Administration from Butler University.
